Owen's first time
Owen was the perfect poster child for nerdhood. Scrawny, thick glasses, bad haircut. He was a senior in high school, and his voice still hadn't changed! But life wasn't all bad. In fact lately it had been quite good! It all began to change for him about two years ago...
Owen never understood the why or how of his strange powers. It was something he rarely questioned and barely controlled. But he would never forget the first day his strange gift manifested itself.
It was his sophomore year. He was in the library to do a report for History class, and having a terrible time of it.
Normally, the school library was tended by some old crone, but that day said crone was out sick. Her substitute was a young woman by the name of Miss Carlyle.
